been a long time since i did an update here. I moved into a condo about a month ago and took the opportunity to re-scape. I like it, but it just seems a tad off for some reason. Not sure what i need to change, but i'll think about. anyways, here are some pics of the tank and some of the inhabitants. enjoy...
Current stocking.....
4 clown Loaches
1 Red Tail Black shark
4 Bosemani Rainbow
1 Hybrid rainbow (not sure what it is)
pair of apisto Njsinni (forgot how to spell it)
pair of apisto aggasizzi (unfortunately, they've been bullied into hiding. I'm thinking about setting up a new 20 gallon for them and some docile tank mates)
6 Skunk Corys
4 Sterbai corys
3 peppered corys
6 cardinal tetras (lost some before the move. Gonna add six more once my LFS gets some that are a decent size)
14 rummy nose
9 danios (6 zebra are new, 1 leopard and 2 golden leopard from my original stocking. The 2 goldens are just about finished i think)
8 ottos
2 marble hatchet fish (the rest jumped out of the tank and i've decided not to replace them)
going to fill out the cardinal school and then add 2 more decent size bosemani and that will be it for stocking. Water stats have been very good. (PH holding steady at 6.8, nitrite and ammonia at 0, nitrates jump to about 20-30 ppm before my weekly 25% water change)
I tried to stick to the inch of fish/gallon rule, but i've since gone way beyond it. Other than the bullied apistos, my stocking has worked out well. The RTBS chases the rainbows when he/she is in a bad mood, but its spread out among the 5 of them and they're more than capable of dealing with it
