I've looking at my fish, and, like the colouration the blood spot seems to have disappeared?? What I have noticed is that my fat/bloated/larger neon has got part of it's fin missing, it's the dorsal one (is that the one on top?) if you can imagine the fin being triangular shape it seems to have ripped in two. I take it it's a sign of the NTD?

I'm treating with the meds so I don't really think there is anything more I can do, apart from wait it out.

Loobie do you mean it has a split in it like you just cut it with a pair of scissors.

Its quite normal for fish to get split fins they heal on there own in good water quality.
Keep and eye on it though to make sure it dosn't go raggy or have a white edging or red streaks running through it.

it could be that his fin only got nipped by another fish. this happens with my platties from time to time (but not as much as it used to happen, thank goodness). it's nothing to worry about; the fin will probably grow back in no time!
