Hey nice tank, if i were u i would put some backing paper on the back of the tank so that you don't see anything that is behind it, looks much nicer. :fun:

Matt

tank is looking much nicer than the first few pics
i agree with matty, if you had a black background it will show up the fish more, not too keen on the lighthouse though

i would add a background too.
and to be honest, i dont mich like all the decor you have, the light house, the turtle, etc just isnt working for me. im more of a fan of sanded substrate with bogwood and plenty of plants, however the stones do look nice on the bottom. i would suggest adding live plants, and taking out a few of the decoration you have now, to give the fish more room.

I actually do have a black background...but the pictures just weren't working out that great...getting alot of reflexions
Inside the tank..do you want to know what fish or decorations i have? i'm not sure which you want to know so i'll tell you both
I have some guppies, no clue how many not to many, definetly as another person would say pverstpcled but they're all happy and same family
so i don't care, and none have been dying or anything and they're just doing great, there's probably 10-15of them, and yah i know 1inch per gallon.
and i have a bristlenose pleco that does a mighty fine job on the algea, except for one area but it's just a pot
and for the decoration i have medium sized rocks, a pot, half a bowl that the pleco is ALWAYS in cept for at night when he sucks on the walls, and then i have a light housem turtle, cannon, some rock sculptor thingy..not sure what they're called "fake reef" not sure and then i have lots of face plants in the background

Ok so like the rest, the lighthouse, gun turret?, dragon thing and turtle etc just don't float ma boat (did you just empty your toy box in there! LOL). Like the pebble look though, as it increased throughtout your photos. :good: Try taking the toys out do the pebble thing (everyone loves sand but hey, the pebble thing works too) and post another photo.....wadayousay? ;)

another thing that worries me? if you dont know how many guppies you have, and they are all related, eventually you are going to be come overrun with guppies, all interbred, and probally deformed and shortened life span. its important to sort out your stocking levels, none may have died yet, but in the future, who knows, lots could die. and not to be funny, but the attitude " i dont care" doesnt help. you need to care with fish, or problems are going to occur. i would keep the plants, and the pot cave thing. i am a fan of sand, but those pebbles do look good. i would still have a layer of substrate on the bottom, with the stones on top.

A tank set up is a very individual concept, me personally, I prefer a more natural tank, if it were mine it would be a case of removing all the 'unatural' ornaments ie the cannon, lighthouse etc.
