i am seffie i cant wait to get it all done so i can start buy some corals finally lol

another update lol been very busy today

current holding tank

starting drilling hole in base

and hole done lol

pipework in place to check

test fit the weir

also ripped out the brace bar as it was in the way of my halide and cast a shadow in the tank

hole drilled in stand

pipework all mocked up with sump in place

return pipe

and 1 of wat the ball valve did when it fell

so have now got to get a new sheet of glass so i can fix the base in the sump. i was not happy when it happened as it was all going so well

well after wat happened with the sump i can now say that its been fixed by sandwiching the original piece of glass between 2 more and is now again water tight lol

That is looking very good can imagine the language when you dropped the ball valve!

Liamg, can I ask a favour, woukd you be kind enough to change the swear word you used in the other post please. We have many younger members who read these sections, cheers

and the five year old was very worried seeing your photos - "why is there a hole in the tank Nanny" that took some explaining

lol well u can tell them now that the hole has been plugged with all the pipework lol

have now filled the tank up with cold water and im happy to say that there are no leaks and no problems wat so ever and is running very happily and is quite aswel now ive messed with the ball valve

weir comb arrived today and is now glued into place so will drain all the tap water out the tank give it another gd clean and start the refill with some nice 0tds ro then add the salt ready for the big move 2moz hopefully my 2 firefish wont carpet surfin again the lil gits lol

tank now set up and inmates all moved across and loving there revamped old home lol
