Thanks HappyAnnie he might be a looker in finage wise now but he still has the deformed gill flap which is why he got his name quazimodo! I might have a go with him in the future but he lives up at my mums and until I get a place of my own I dont really have space to breed! I must admit though he is a very interesting colour as his body is lilac and he has a red head, also the base of his fins were red but are starting to turn lilac now so I'm wondering if the rest of his fins might change to lilac in the future which would be neat if they do as I've never before seen a lilac one in the shops!

Well, nobody is perfect as far as the gill flaps go. His color is so beautiful and it's nice you can get a new friend after your loss. That's just super.

I bought this guy around a month ago his fins had been eaten to around 5mm by a group of swordtails! I spent around half hour in the shop debating on whether or not to buy him! I must admit I'm very glad I did even though when I took him up to my mums to go in my two foot tank (had no others spare) I got told off for spending money on him! I half expected him to die but he has certainly proved me wrong and my mum is also proud of how well he is coming on! Will keep you up dated though on the rest of his progress!
