After getting my Aqua 510 for Xmas and setting it up with what i got and have now re done tank with natural look, i love it, but was wondering would it look better with a black background??
I know have to re route the air pump hose but thats an easy fix...
Any constructive criticism please....

oh i like, love the betta too, as for backgrounds black or blue do tend to make the fish stand out more :good: but black would prob be best with the betta being blue

Looks awsome ^_^ I especially like the black gravel instead of the multi colored :good:

for the backround... yeah black would look nice and make the betta stand out more, but with the natural look, a natural looking backround might look better... the choice is yours :good:

looks loads better
:good:
a black background would just finish it off in my opinion but the choice is yours

I really like the way the tank looked before and think it's even cooler now. My only gripe is the location of the heater. I'm assuming the options on where to put it are limited BUT it wasn't as noticeable for some reason in the before pic. maybe it's me. other than that, the tank looks great.

I would say make it look a little more disorganized. whenever man tries to organize something natural, it always can't compete. But thats just my opinion, still looks nice, just moving things around so it has a little more 'anarchy' to it's look would make it look great :good:

Thanks for all the comments,
What fish would people recommend to add with the betta preferably a school of 5-6?

Also found two small snails must have come on the planted driftwood...

I will be adding some more grass and rocks towards the front of the tank also. The heater is more noticable due to the reflection from the lights...

Much appreciated,
Adam
