My Poor Fish

My new fish arrived today like they were supposed to, only the bloody postman didnt ring the bell! I was in all the time and upstairs, but they never rang the bell, I came down thinking it was strange that they hadnt been yet and there was a note through the door Cant pick them up until tomorrow morning as they are only open in the mornings. Im so worried about them. Luckily they have a 40 hour heat pack, hopefully there is enough oxygen. There will be hell to pay if they have died!

and thats what happens when you get your fish delivered thorugh someone that doesn't actually want fish in there system.

If your fish are dead your a bit buggered, as soon as you mention fish to Royal Mail, they'll give the royal single figgered solute.

I'm sorry to hear about your fish but you cannot blame to RM for this, sending live fish is against their terms and conditions and if you do send live fish with them then there is no guarantee so you have nothing to blame them for to be honest.

You/ the seller took a risk sending a fish with royal mail and you lost out.

Feel free to blame them, but they'll do bugger all about it should you need to put a claim in.

I tend to make sure any fish i buy for delivery are coming by a proper courier that accept Live fish packages such as APC or TNT.

personally i think people should send fish responsibly and pay to have them couriered safely and securely

It's all part of looking after a fish properly.

Bettas will live through anything damn them!
If it was something valuable or even nice I would be worried.

Are you trying to say that bettas aren't valuable or nice ? If so thats a bit uncalled for don't you think? She has every right to be worried, its a living animal why wouldn't you care?

Look next time get the fish sent through a decent carrier, as paul said, like TNT etc.
Bettas suck anyway.
