Big thanks to the members here as without them.. idk if there would be any fish left after an outbreak of valvet deseease last year.

How many gallons is that pond? just out of curiousity

I belive its about 3 - 3 1/2 thousand galons.

there is another smaller pond too with no fish in above this one.

beastly koi,we have a 12000 gallon poind with a few koi and hundreds of breeding goldifsh in but we don't have the money fopr a filter so the wate ris green .

belive it or not i built my filter for that pond from scratch... cost only about £60 ish maximum

ive got some pics will be adding in about 30 mins

£60 filter up the top... not pretty but works like a beauty

Empty 2nd part of filter... was the old filter but got clogged up so is just being a biological one now

yeah afaik there common carp and we have two of them

made a mistake... there mirror carp!

rough stock would be...

1 x tench
2x mirror carp
3 x golden orf
3 x large KOI carp
1 x awesome sterlet

and about 8 goldfish...

is it overstocked you think? if love to ditch some goldfish some of the uglier ones and get something ells in there defo some stone loaches to turn over the bottum... but idk what ells any sugestions?
