Pic's not that good sorry  But i think you can still see them

Hi j7aoc :)

Congratulations and best of luck with them.

I'll move your thread to the Catfish section where it is more likely to be read by members who know about plecos. :D

Don't no nothing about oscars, but he might make a meal of them, yes plenty of plants, good luck.

Congrats, could you remove the eggs by any chance, or maybe remove all the other fish to stop them being eaten? If not, then simply place as many plants and shelters of the eggs as you can, to make sure they remain safe.

However, if they did hatch, you would need to move them into a seperate tank for them to survive. ;)

Any pics? :)

Thanks will try to get them out if they hatch and try to get some pictures up

what plecs are they? I'll guess Bristle noses..

I'll be willing to say that the fry will be food.. even as they grow they will still be food sized to an oscar :(

Yes they are bristle noise one's so it looks like that won't live long then my oscar is very slow there about 30-40 eggs i try and get them out how long do the take to hatch? :S

about 5 days to hatch - the dad would normally keep them in a cave untill the yoke sacks are gone.

get them out while still eggs - its LOADS easier than catching the fry :)

orange egg's in the coral

In the Coral?! im guessing thats fake

Congrats on the spawning, i suggest if you want babies you get them a tank of their own to breed in, the fry will never live with an oscar circling above them.

Ben

Make sure, when removing the eggs, to keep them under water at all times, and be as gentle as possible. :)

Also you might want to add some methylene blue to the hospital tank to stop the eggs getting fungus on then, good luck.
