My Platy Died Whilst Giving Birth

my platy gave birth to two fry, one already dead and one died soon after. It killed the mother, how can i raise fry in a way that wont kill the mother fish? x

breeding boxes can cause stress, but this will happen.

Unfortunately this happens, not only with platys, but guppies too.
There are pros & cons to using a trap, it works for some, but not others.
If your tank is well planted you will have some fry survive, & tbh if you save all the fry you will soon be overstocked
