My planted freshwater journal/update thread

Nice...don't be alarmed that it is yellow, new anubia leaves start out that way, it will green-up over time.
I know, when we came back from our vaca I saw this yellow leaf and I was like: "OH NO, IVE FAILED, MY PLANTS ARE DYING". But then aftee matching that plant up with a picture I took before the trip and noticed it wasnt there before... So I was like: "whew, my plants arent dying" lol. So now I know not to freak out

Deciding if its edible or not...

So I went to the store to get some nerite snails... Sadly and surprisingly, they had NO nerite snails... But surprise! That specific peacock gudgeon that I special ordered but they didnt give me that one cause they had 3 in store already was there! I stared at him and the other fish in the tank for about 30mins... I wanted to make sure non of the occupants had a disease and there were no dying fish... I saw one fish swimmimg weird but that looked like it was swim bladders disease or stress (most likely stress). So after arguing with my self on the matter for a while I figured it would be best to get him/her (looks female) to balance out my tank since I only have 2 gudgeons and one was getting a bit aggressive. So, TA DA! New gudgeon. I will try and get pics tomorrow, the lights are all off rn.

Sorry for the glare but I FINALLY got the black background and its looking great imo!

Nice!
What is the title and author of the book? It says origins of fish and that is something I need.

You can honestly Google for orgins of fish... The book is by DK and is called: Encyclopedia of Aquariums & Ponds... I would use caution tho, because it was published in 2005 so some info may be outdated
