yea if you go by the definition of abuse, giving them the best living conditons available

I will be honest but won't be nasty.
I found that the area was cramped with to many rabbits in a cage, and the flooring reminded me of one of them awful battery chicken -places.
Do the rabbits get any exercise.
Less is more, best to find homes for some so the rabbits can have a good quality of life.

Yes they do get exercise. Its not like all I do is breed my rabbits and barely keep them alive!

Sorry just wanted to check seen many a rabbit poor things just left in cages and filthy at that.
Were only looking out for the welfare of the rabbits.
Do you really need to breed them as I had my male dwarf rabbit had his bits done neutured can't spell that sorry, so he could live happy with his female companion without baby rabbits springing up every month.

It had it five years till we got him a female, he had enough practice with it on a male buck lol.

lol, One of my rabbits (Ace) got into another fight with a rabbit (Sandy) that my mom made me sell. But he lost a nut but he still has good babies. My friednd says he only has half his man essence.

I usually stay out of these types of threads cause Im a mod and shouldnt get involved, but....

Those cages are so damned cruel to their feet and they just cant move round. It really wasnt that long ago that you said you would do something about it but here you are again with more rabbits if you include the ones youve bred. You also said you were going to be selling most of them, which you again said in this thread.
I dont know if if its just naivity or you know and dont care.
I went to a rabbit breeding farm years ago where the rabbits were bred for meat. I was totally disgusted by how they were kept and took 2 young ones home with me. I honestly thought in that time we had become more sympathetic to the needs and welfare of animals in our care - obviously not
There is absolutely no difference in the way they were kept to yours in wire cages so nothing solid for them to stand on, and they did look in good condition like yours because rabbits are resilient little buggers that take a lot of crap.

What do you do with them after theyve been bred a few times, as none of them look that old? Do you just sell them on like puppy farmers do because thats what you remind me of?
There are sooo many rabbits out there that need homes....

Now, if you want to post pics and not get another load of people disgusted then do something about it. Dont just post dots as replies and actually listen to advice.
If you cant provide adequate housing, bedding, exercise, then you shouldnt keep them full stop.

They are nice animals, but when i look at them i just feel so damned sorry for them.

hostly FBT, if you lived near me i would look you up and report you to the humane society. not because im mean just because you don't listen to anyone and mildly abuse your animals.

she writing the reply, but i still say, just get some stuff for the rabbits, for their feet, please!!!

All you need to do is put ONE layer of hay on top of the wire mesh. Why is that so hard?!

They will get tumours on their feet, will loose toes, will loose nails, will break their feet if you dont do it.

I don't see why you have to breed them either  We recently had out dwarf dutch neutured (I think you were correct wilder  ) because basically he would use one of the shelty's as a sex toy, and the most screwed up thing is they were all males :look: 3 weeks later he's almost completely healed up, didn't get stressed at all and has now stopped the guinae pig 'thing', also he doesn't nip as near as much as he usto.

As everyone else has said it really 'seems' you are being ignorent, if you let them run around why don't you show us this place instead of taking pictures of them on wire floor and very cramped cages.

all it costs for one bale of straw over here is about £2.50. then at least you could layer that on top of the wire. It's not ideal but it's better than those horrible cages as they are now.

This is my last and only reply after reading those!

I AM GETTING THE STUFF! Today. And never, ever, once again will I post about my rabbits. Somehow, even if it is not the cages someone finds something to bag on me about. So never again willl I post Baby bunnies or litters coming up or even about my rabbits! OK? Then no one would bag on me for my parents actions ok? My mom does EVERYTHING this other rabbit breeder does Can I drive out to the feed store to get stuff my bunnies feet? No! Because my mom can drive I cant! OK? So truely none of this is my fault. Yes I love breeding rabbits but I would have just been find showing Ace my first rabbit! Now, you can all stop posting because I am not reading anymore! OK???!!!!

wow, grow up. if you cant stand getting criticized then don't post picts of those horrible conditions.
