How did you come to get an Owl?
Are they available as pets, surely there is strict restrictions on their sale?

Extremely interested, i love birds of prey, Owls in particular.

Yeah someone was trying to sell my mum an owl but she turned them down because she thought it was illigal

Lol no its not illegal, you have to have a licence but you just apply for them and as long as you've got the room and time to give it adequate care, you are able to get a licence and keep birds of prey! He was only £50 as well, they're not expensive! We decided to get one when we saw that our local pet shop had them, the owners of the shop are good family friends, and my Dad built the aviary and everything! He's really lovely, we're going to start taking him to falconry classes soon so that we can eventually take him over the fields and let him have a little fly a couple of times a week lol!
