my new tattoo..

I've always heard that when you have them on your face, hands, or feet that they will need recoloring quicker/more often then most other locations simply becasue those areas of your body shed skin more readily. And since a tatto is 7 layers of skin down..and those 3 areas shed more often..it will cause them to become lighter quicker.

:dunno:

lol yeah...I've definately never been accused of being a stick figure...that's for sure .

Great tatoo, I would have done mine there, but I also have weight issues. Mine is on my lower leg, about 4-5 inches up from my ankle. I had wanted one since I was 15, but had to wait till about 6 months ago, when I came off the blood thinners. I also had an allergic reaction, and being a border line diabetic, I had a lot of problems with blisters and junk. They are finally healed up though. I helped design it, and the names are my daughters names. You can see where the blisters were, they kinda pulled the color, but I am going to get it touched up.

Thanks SRC.....

I drew it myself, it used to be just black and shaded, but I wanted to change it, and so did my G/F if you know what I mean....let's just say, I got it when I was married.

I have to secong the comment about the stick figure, and I can't wait to see the finished product, not to say it isn't a great looking tattoo as it is.

I've got a tattoo as well. I have an orca on the back of my neck. It's only 2 weeks old. ^_^ As soon as I get a picture, I will post it up here.

I like your tattoo as-is SRC... the fluidity of it is very flattering to your "curves". :hey: i think the spikes might be a bit much, but then again i'm rather conservative (see: boring).

Sorry to bring back an old post but wanted to share mine too.

I love all the tattoos already posted and I too thought of the lower back but didnt want to end up with something stretched and detorted if I some day had kids.

This is my too I got when I was 19 made a deal if anyone wanted to watch me get mine they had to get one to so four guy friends of mine have tattoos now too lol. Mine was $40 I drew a rough draft then worked with the tattoo guy and he spent several hours drawing and redrawing it :D He was super patient with me and so hot.

Its not off to the side I just took the picture myself and its suprisingly hard to get a good pic of your own back.

Excuse the bad photography..... These are my 3, and I plan on getting one more. Everything matches and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am very particular!! I so wish I could stray away from that, but I just can't!!

Beautiful tats Rio!
I have 6 tattoos, but I don't have any pics of them on my work computer
so I'll go home and snap away tonight!

Everyone should have atleast 1 tat lol. They certainly define your character...well if you take your time in chooseing one. take your time and you'll never want to get rid of it later....I know I sure won't.

I like mine as it is too...but I really like the other one too lol..but the $400 is hard to come up with..when I keep spending $100 here and $60 there on fish tanks, bettas, and toadies .

Oh, and those aren't "spikes" that's a tribal spider **teehee**.
