My New Seashell 60X18X24 Wdh

How are you getting on with the Tesco kitty litter ? would you say its fine enough for geophagus, cichlids etc ? im really not a big fan of sand as i had big issues before. i want to use it when i get my new tank but want it to be suitable for the eartheaters. i know you had cories so i am very curious

My corys and loaches dig round perfectly fine, cant really say if its suitable for geophagus, sorry :)

thanks for the reply. im still undecided so i see what pans out

Time for an update of pics I think Tizer, I wanna see how the pack of clowns are going

:)

I'll see what i can do tonight, i've not been doing a lot with the tank since i removed the old substrate and put new in. I've cut down the cory count and still looking to move on some more of them, the loaches do an excellent job of cleaning the substrate so i'm thinking it will be a cory free tank in a few months time, loaches are just more fun. :) Plus catching the corys is such a nightmare in a large tank, i break out in a sweat just thinking about doing it... :/

The corys are standard jobs, not black unfortunately :( very nice bronze/rust colour though :)

The RTBS died :( Found him when i got home from work one night, no idea why, he wasnt bullied, he chased the SAEs around like a boss. Was an odd one. Not bothered replacing him.

17 Clown Loaches now, all pretty small. Will round it up to 20 eventually and call it a day. Working on the wife this summer to upgrade to a 6 or 8 footer. Chucking loads of old fishing tackle on eBay to raise the cash at the moment! :) She will probably nick it all and go buy baby clothes though. :)

Definately go for the 8 footer, the Clowns will love it (& need it too eventually).

Ooh and post some pics please???

This is it at the moment! Far less interesting for the time being :) I have a little'un taking up all my time and money!

Will have some new developments next month :>

Loaches are all hiding in the tubes at the back :D

That is indeed a nice looking tank, looking good.

Although we wanna see some loachies!

What?! But they look so good in a big shoal swimming up and down in a long tank like that.
