I've had several different males start eating babies on me when they're sprouting tails! Not all of them are good daddies...some are downright cannibalistic. And, even then, sometimes they grow out of it. And sometimes they don't.

Did you ever let the male just let him takecare and don't worried about when he suck the babies into the mouth? Just let the male who eat the babies let him just takecare for 15 days. Then you will know if he really eat the babies or not.
I have analized that the male always suck the babies into his mouth for 1 to 5 minutes. Then he will swim and the spite out in another corner. All my males do that. I have more than 15 males breeding and all act the same.

I doubt they'd fit your feet though, they're a 7 and a half ladies size... wore 'em when I did Wizard of Oz!
They're worth a try to get to Kansas for those bettas, though!

I have small feet, I'm only 18!

I'm pretty sure Bettaman is older than I am, and being a guy, will have larger feet.

That, and those shoes are a tight fit with socks.. had to make 'em that way so they didn't fall off while skipping down the yellow brick road!

I know they ate them. I gave them a week after I suspected all had been eaten. From a full nest of wriggling things with tails...to not a single baby in sight. So frustrating! One of my Plakats actually ate his entire batch two times, and then was a perfect father the third time. And one of my Crowntails ate his entire batch all THREE times that I spawned him, so he's fired.

Both had been conditioned for over two weeks before I tried to spawn them.

Wou. you got a lot of cannibal male bettas in your hands. LOL Interesting! I still never had one male that eat babies yet. Only one male I had is kept playing the eggs and blowing here and there and that is it. LOL

It will be awesome to see Bettaman wearing the red ruby shoes and walking down the yellow bricks and fall down. LOL

That white betta is stunning in the first page; if they had a betta-of-the-month running on here again im sure he'd win for sure, he's gorgeous

OK. I am going to breed him! The white platinum one! Then put all the babies in one big tank and makes you luring.
Oh yeah. All of you haven't seen my 75 gallon big tank full of betta babies.! I take a picture next time in my ceramics studio.
