Look at the tail of the male. He is too obvious like turnip. The female also have rosetail too. Both are sibling and the babies just starting to eat live brine shrimp today. I got at least more than 300 babies this time. :p Can you see the babies?

They should be pretty much the same right or not? At least 50% look like parent and 50% look like them I guess. Bettaman should know. I bet he will come to topeka to help me building my barrack now. LOL
Opps. Don't forget my Red chilli halfmoon crossed with copper crowntail female. They are about 1/2 inches now. :) They pretty cute but still showing like normal babies fries. I will posting later what will they become. :)
Aren't it is fun to breed betta? Not veiltail ok! LOL
Someone will choke me later. LOL
Here is a better picture to show the maletail. :) How the tail become like that is when he got to me, he got ammonia burned. The tail is rotten but they growth back. From there, it just look like turnip fancytail now. LOL I like his top and bottom fins. Very straight!

Beautiful pair. Those are going to be some very lovely fry.

It's interesting how his tail looks after that ammonia burn. It looks so symmetrical and almost elegant, like it was meant to be that way.

Yup. They were very symmetrical and very pretty now. If I didn't tells everyone that he got ammonia burn, everyone will thought that he is a new hybrid betta and then called it turnip or carrot tail. LOL Or they might called it feathertail. LOL
I won't be surprised if the babies got doubletail. Can't tell right now. Why I said that the male top bottom fin are very straight. :p Just my guess.

Oh yes. The female is going to pair up with this male in two weeks. :) They are side by side now.

I'm sure you've heard this a gazillion times, but omg, I love your male's tail. I'm not even sure what type that is, maybe I missed his proper tail-type in the thread?

that's it!!! i'm coming to topeka and raiding the fish room!!! they are beautiful bettas. that first male's tail is crazy! and the female and her newboyfriend are just gorgeous!!!!

 Can I come to Kansas and just sit in your fish room and look at all the beautiful betta babies? I know I could die happy then. :p :D :D

Oh thanks everyone for the compliments. Come to Topeka. LOL I be very happy for you guys to help me to takecare of the babies. My schedules are so busy now and I have to plan my time wisely. I be done my teaching job next week and have more time in my bettas.:) I got so many babies hatching and they will be fine in the summer because I will transfer them to my garden. I will put them into big containers and let them get big.
soritan, they are supposely rosetail halfmoon pairs. Both have incredible rays and the male got ammonia burned when I got him. The tail is pretty bad burned and left like spiky tail. He did growth back and now he looks like that now. :) He really got a beautiful straight top and bottom fin when he sailing.:) Just don't know how to discribe him. :) They are the smallest pair I had breed. :)
I just woke up and I saw the yellow babies all eat pretty full of brine shrimp from last night. The father is making sure the babies staying up on the water surface and also I put a snail to clean the bottom up good. Easy for me to take care when sucking the bottom. :p
Oh yeah, the white one is a platinum white halfmoon. He is very clean and iridesine like metallic. He is very beautiful.
My additional spring breeding project are red butterfly doubletail halfmoon pair, green mustard doubletail male with singletail female to breed, and another green metalic halfmoon pair. So many to breed. :p
I will let go some breeding pairs so other can keep breeding them. :) They all should be top pairs for great beautiful tails.
Right now I have 40 copper crowntail cross red chilli babies, 10 Tsunami cross red chilli babies, 40 Red chilli cross back daugther halfmoon babies, 120 + green metallic halfmoon babies, 300+ giant plakat with doubletail plakat, and now 300+ the yellow rosietail babies.
I like small batch like 40 babies. :) More to come when I got the breeding tank ready.:)
