Plants and wood in place.

Tank is currently cycling. Any comments and suggestions welcome! I am planning on adding a few pieces of slate to the right of the tank to make a few hidy holes but having managed to get hold of any yet! I will also be adding a black background shortly.

Hi, :hi: to the forum!
What a great start! Tank already looks great!
What fish are you planning to stock?

Westwood

That is a nice bit of scaping and a good looking tank (I do like the finish quality of the Rio's) :good:

Thanks Westwood! Still thinking about it but my early thoughts are a large school (12-15) of something, possibly Harlequins or I might splash out and go for Galaxy Rasbora. I really wanted some years ago when they first came on the market but couldnt afford them plus they were obviously very rare. A pair of Kribs, hoping to get Pelvicachromis Taeniatus of a local breeder if he has any left when my tank is cycled. 3 or 4 BN's and a school of corrys! Perhaps some shrimp also!

Thats about as far as I have thought to be honest!

Looking good already! :good:

Many of you people use playsand, I notice. In here the most of us use sandblowing sand. :D Don't know if there is any specific difference, playsand may be even smaller?

Love the tank :hyper: and that wood fit's perfect in the tank to. Great start mate. :good:

Thanks for the kind comments. I will update once I get the background on and manage to source some decent slate.

Black background added. Slate also added along with some coconut shells. Cycling going well so hopefully not long until I can start stocking!

That looks the part. The plant growth has made a big difference. Very clean as well.

Absoloutely love it, When i see a tank with dark background, sand and bogwood and lovely plants, it makes me want to set up more and more tanks haha.

BIG thumbs up :)

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm really pleased with it to be honest. I don't plan to add anything else so just going to let it grow out for the near future.
