He's gorgeous. I'm glad to see that some people adopt the older animals. At the shelter we're totally full of the older and middle aged/ non puppy dogs, and cats, but we only ever get calls from people who want a puppy or kitten. It's nerve wracking, because we have over 110 dogs, and it's not fair for them. No one ever thinks how much work a puppy or kitten is. They just think they're cute, then they pee in the house or chew, then we get them back. So Kudos for you Snowy Angel!

He's lovely, I adore ginger toms and think marc is gorgeous. He's a little lighter in colour than my Taggart but equally handsome, I love that M it's brilliant.
Be sure and spoil him rotten, he's got to be something special to go through all that and come through the other side still purring!!

Very pleased he has his forever home, would've given him a POTM nom but I see he has more than enough already!

I totally aggree Jackdemp. Working for a rescue also has taught me how there's so many wonderful adult animals longing for homes. I'm glad i got the opportunity to make it up to one animal atleast. Ever since I was young I always told my mom I was gonna adopt from only shelters and i would walk in and say "whats your next animal to be put down/who's been here the longest?" and then I'd adopt that one animal no matter what it looked like! Oh god i remember saying that ever since i was like 13, lol.
But i figure I'm still young, I'm in my 20's. Imagine how many elderly animals i could give happy endings to in my lifetime? Why limit myself at having 1 or 2 animals from beginning to end when i could own in my life time possibly 10 or more elderly animals that might other wise be put down or be stuck in kennels. The answer is obviously clear.

I posted some pics of Taggart taken on sunday so you can see he's not really that much like marc but he is ginger and he is male.

Anyhow we have a problem. I want fancy and banks but that site says Montreal and I'm in Scotland. This just isn't on!! One other problem would be convincing hubby to double the number of cats we have - but I could always kick him out to make room!!

Oh I hope they find a good home together, they are adorable.

Lol yes i've met fancy and banks and they are beautiful cats(they're related aswell). Banks especially is unique. He will literally give hugs. You pick him up and he will seperate his paws so each is on other sides of your neck and he hangs on. It's really cute.
Marbles and Gooey have been adopted and Banks and Fancy are going into a foster home so it's better then nothing! Black cats are generally harder to find homes for (don't ask why) so I do wish you were closer!

So since there's been many great compliments towards Marc I'll post a new ipc with everyone of my replies as a thank you. Mods may kill me for this, lol. And cheekeyarab your nomination went towards his 1st pic like you wanted.

Thank you and I do aggree. His eyes are never fully opened, always kinda half opened with those innocent eye brows poking up. Trust me, when he lays the puppy eye look on, he always wins.... brat lol.
