My New Marine Tank

Sounds like you have it all in hand :good: how are you going to cover the wire - we all talked about this very issue some time back, we considered that plastic cable covering and also using rock, what are your plans?

I would love to see lots of photos of the trigger, i'm a big fan :good:

i was actually thinking of trying either covering the wire in silicone sealant all the way up, or my best bet is to actually use the original heater, the one that fits snugly inside the jewell filter box on the right :)
that way there are no wires in the tank at all
ill try and get some more pics soon, he is a bit scatty still

need some more live rock but my lfs is all out for now :(

anyone willing to sell me about 20kilos at a decent price?

to make this tank complete im going to get a wartskin angler and a fuzzy dwarf lion deffo.
then maybe add some kind of wrasse and then leave it at that

ok then

ive changed things againm lol

i have a habit of doing this :(

im now swapping out the vision 180 for a 4 foot 260 litre aquarium with custom cabinet etc. the tank should be here monday or tuesday :)
this is going to house my trigger, large black and white clown, 2 pyjama cardinals and some other fish when i decide lol.
i already have 2 tanks out in my back room setups which have been running just saltwater with nothing in but filters for a month so this water and the existing water in the vision will be enough to fill new tank up.
it will be a FOWLR tank, and its going to be amazing!
the best part is that it has a custom hood which is easier to work with than the jewell ones.
this way i can add whatever lighting i want you see.

im going to do a proper journal for this new setup, so ill ge that started once tank is here.
i am hoping to move everything over on the same day, so if anyone can see any issues with this then please let me know

the existing spare saltwater is heated and filtered so temp wont be an issue.
i just need lots more rock work now to make it look good lol

Sounds a good short term idea for your lovely Trigger - by the way, what is his name?

i dont tend to name my animals anymore, apart from larger pets like cats and stuff, fish i tend not too as in the past ive given them names and then they have died and ive had to explain to my daughter and its difficult lol
saying that though my little girl has called it Rosie. but, as she is 3 pretty much everything is now called Rosie lol. my 2 regular clowns are called nemo (both of them) and my 2 yellow tail damsels are called dory (again, both of them lol)

we have also just made a robot called R05ie lol

heres a pic
