My New Guppies Guide

Hi guys, well as some of you may know i have had a bit of bad luck with guppies just lately.
However today my mom said do you want to go and buy some new guppies, i was gobsmacked cause she usually hates to go in pet stores and lfs.
So i went in and bought what look like 1 preg female and 1 non preg female, aswell as 1 male who looks like a hifin.
I also bought some aqua safe easybalance, which breaks down fish waste etc.
So i bought them home and left them floating in the bag for 15 mins and just as i was adding some of my aquarium water, 1 female escaped so i decided to put all if the fish in( i just hope they wernt shocked.
So know all i have to do is pray that they are ok and that the female will live and have a healthy birth.
P.S. I added some of my new tetra aqua safe easybalance before i put my new fish into the tank.

should be ok mate, but tetra safe for guppies?

Yep, i think that tetra aqua safe is for any coldwater or tropical fish, at least thats what it says on the bottle.
I hope they are ok.
P.S. I will keep you updated on the guppies pregnancy.

how long were they acclimatising for before she escaped>?? if it was 15 mins or more i wopuldnt worry too much....
if it says safe for cold and trop fish i wouldnt worry too much either.... good stuff.

Hi everyone, i am so excited, my female seems to have squared off and her gravid spot is black also her opening is pertruding slightly which i can see a white line inside her leading to her vent making it pertrude, is this the birthing canal?
Also she is pacing up and down the tank, which i read is a sign of pregnancy.
I am so excited.

Woot! I wish you luck! I havent had much luck at all the few times i tried to breed guppies. Can't wait for you to tell use how it went!

Thanks leahzebelle, although looking and browsing through the internet looking at pregnant guppies, the seem to be really fat, and seen as she isnt that fat id say that she has about anoth week or 2 untill she gives birth, but she is deffinately has a gravid spot.
