I finally picked a couple of these up at the weekend, ive wanted them for ages but they are usually far too small to go in with my other brackish fish.

Those look great CFC. Love their shape. :)

I'm assuming they're agressive. ;) :D
about as aggressive as a Angelfish i spose, if you give them pleanty of room they dont harm anything.

Nice looking fish there cfc! Love their home too!

Are they the ones that are featured in the latest PFK (if you read that)?
Yep...page 107 labelled as Finger Fish, Monodactylus Sebae.

what type of rock do you have piled up there by the way?, is very affective!!

Yeah, they were one of the fish featured in the brackish artical they printed.

Nice, i really like monos! Will they be in brackish forever? We put some in marine at work and apparently they doubled in size within a couple of months!

Eventually when all the fish in the big brackish tank are adult i will be taking the SG up to marine levels and adding some live rock, at the moment the SG is around 1.014 so there isnt far to go.

Cool sounds really good! I wish there were proper freshwater and medium brackish corals. Seeing those freshwater sponge beds on the "Amazon Abyss" program really made me want to set up a PROPER Amazon Biotope.
