My New Cory Virginae Have Just Arrived

just got my new Virginae corydoras about 15mins ago and im not happy with them
2 have there top fins ripped another has a small red hole near its gill plate and another seems to have lost its top layer of its eye like the lense is missing
im just acllimatising them now and im gunna treat the quarintine tank with myxazin .
i went to top the bag up with a bit of tank water and there was only 3 in there cheaked the tank nothing so was panicking it had jumped out at the back of the tank i found it on the floor so i put it straight back in and it seems to be ok

Were they shipped?

They will recover. Maybe the fins will grow back. They may have poked each other in the bags.

Nevertheless, they look like healthy specimens. Are they young adults?

I would prod a little for a credit. If it was an extra good price then they may figure you got your money's worth. But if they were dear then they should at least give a credit.

yeah jollysue they were posted i got them from ebay
there about 2inch in length
hopefully the meds will heal them up
iv sent an email to the seller so im just waiting to here what they say

Doesn't quite look like the same fish as displayed in your original post; that was one gorgeous fish but I suppose once they are healed this will look different.

Consider if you want to use this guy again. Find good people and stick with them. They will reward you. There are lots of folks that are not consistently excellent.

Hey guys,
Just thought I'd let you know I've decided to give this guy a go, he seems very keen to get his business of Corys and Plecos established and apart from drewry having an unfortunate episode his feedback has been excellent.
I must admit I've probably pestered him to the point where he feels obliged to let me in on his money savings!
I'm getting 6 each of Adolfoi, Melanistius and Napoensis for £42 delivered - he also said he would throw in 6 Arcuatus as I've promised to buy 3 more lots next month!!!

Also found Bronze and Albino very cheap at BAS (3 for £4), so will probably look at getting a deal from them along with some extremely cheap Schwartzi (£2.50 each), but I reckon a bit of haggling can see me with 8 of each for £30.
