My New Cory Virginae Have Just Arrived

Yes, Gazo, you are right. Give the guy a break. But still I prefer the tried and true! There is no cost savings worth the horror of a stinky bag of dead fish and the frantic hope of saving at least one who dies later. Of course the pleasure of bringing them around and then having them breed is some compensation.

Hey guys,
Just thought I'd let you know I've decided to give this guy a go, he seems very keen to get his business of Corys and Plecos established and apart from drewry having an unfortunate episode his feedback has been excellent.
I must admit I've probably pestered him to the point where he feels obliged to let me in on his money savings!
I'm getting 6 each of Adolfoi, Melanistius and Napoensis for £42 delivered - he also said he would throw in 6 Arcuatus as I've promised to buy 3 more lots next month!!!

Also found Bronze and Albino very cheap at BAS (3 for £4), so will probably look at getting a deal from them along with some extremely cheap Schwartzi (£2.50 each), but I reckon a bit of haggling can see me with 8 of each for £30.

Arrived early this morning and all are in perfect health.

Looks like this guy could be a winner, shame he is up in Glasgow as I'd love to go and look at his stock rather than hear about it.

Will try later, but I'm finding that my phone cam isn't that great at catching fish and I dont have a normal digicam

thxs cory_dad :good:
i havent got a clue what most of the plants are apart from the amozon swords+the java moss i put on the bog wood and moss balls and i think the tall ones in the back ground are Elodea but im not sure.
i feed all of them once a month with root tabs and a liqid feed onece a week aswell iv just cut the background ones back and taken cutting of them so its looking a bit bare at the minite but will look better in a few weeks when they shoot back up. these are the best pics i could get of my 3ftx18inchx18inch tank iv had to do it in 2 pics as my web cam dosent go far enuff back to do a full tank shot and it goes blury :good:

Nice. I especially like the java moss on the bog wood. I divided my java moss when I bought it and both bunches have almost tripled in size so I may try that in my new tank. I'm still on the lookout for christmas moss. Jollysue put me on to that but so far I haven't been able to find any.

Thanks for the pix and the ideas.

Cheers.
