My new Betta

Ok ... So I'm new to tropical fish, but my parents always kept them when I was younger... my fiancee has re-introduced me too them and here is my gorgeous new Betta I bought on the weekend..

EDIT: He is actually a nice blue colour, but the flash on the camera kept catching him...

That's a better pic for showing his colours... he starts off dark blue at his head... moves into an emerald green with his bright red fins and then goes back to blue...

I take it from what I've read here my Betta is a VT? I could be wrong )

He looks like a Crowntail VT cross to me.
He's beautiful, looks like he has quite the home there too!

He's a Veiltail, yes. I think he's also a Combtail, too.

Your betta is definitely a VT that is CT geno. If you were to spawn him with a CT female, you would get some Crown Tails and some that look like him. Nice betta.

I agree with Akira (btw to TFF!). Your VT appears to have CT genes in him which is a nice trait in my opinion because I thought VT were dominant.

MY beautiful Betta has cought a nasty case of ich/ white spot. Only one spot on him, but enough to make me cringe.

He has the one spot on his main fin on his right hand side. I have all the treatments, but what is the best way to go about things???
