My New Betta

Got this guy the other day He's actually a dark pink with light blue not green and red
His name is Splitz

Nice betta! From the pics Splitz appears to be the Christmas betta! I bet his true colors are beautiful - pink and blue... Looks like he enjoys his new home!

That's what I love about VTs as pets, the colors that are so undesirable in breeding fish are soooo amazing and gorgeous as pets

Chino- VTs tend to have layers of colors since they are such a mish mash of genes, if you look at them with a flash on a camera or a flashlight, you'll see a whole new set of colors

Then thats why my betta was a darker, sort of duller color, but in pictures hes one magnificent fish! Not that he wasnt in the first place..

I love VT's too. Although I would die to have a crowntail, I have always wanted one but we don't get crowns or any fancy tailed ones around here but the VT's are pretty

He is very pretty..I like his color alot.

You are in Canada..I think that is where Marianne is..or she has breeders who are there one.

You should go to www.bcbettas.com and look at her stock. I just got an e-mail that she has updated recently...she ahs some for some very decent prices. I got my purple and yellow delta for $5.

Not allher fish are that cheap..but she has numerous style and colors for similar prices. She has crowns, delta's, and half moons.

Not to shabby for $5, huh? lol
