My New Betta

I got an Indian Crown betta a few days ago. Why do they keep them in such small containers in the LFS ? It was as small as a cup!!

I don't know either The guy at the LFS told me the name. I thought the name is better than "Fred", so I bought it.

I'm not rich really, heck I don't even have a bank account, seriously. Oh, my dad ain't rich either.

And the fish isn't expensive, I got it for 30 Indian Rupees. Thats less than a dollar!!
(1 us dollar = 46 Indian Rupees approx)

That tank is around 8 years old, and the hood and the light took some serious pocket-money saving. I'm planning to make it a planted tank.

Head on over to Planted tank and read the pinned topics. In no time, you'll be a CO2 injecting, plant-keeping, master of chemistry. In other words, a But I'm just speaking for myself. Others would probably deny their nerdiness.

Oh, yeah, that is a very pretty betta and a steal too.

Hey, my mom's in India.
She's in like new dellie or something..
If I had any way of comunicating to her, I'd tell her to smuggle one into the country for me
To bad the only numbers I can call cost like $1,000,000,000 a minute, and I'm not even garentieed that she'll be there. Why dont cell phones get good coverage in India?

very nice betta you got there but i think he is more of a delta or veiltail than a crowntail, but still lovely all the same, it's nice to see him in a big tank, make sure you post pics when you get it planted.

And as for the rest of you, you should be ashamed of youselves hijacking a new members thread like this, what sort of impression do you lot think you are making

Looks to me like a round tail/delta. Although if you are in india i suppose that does make it an indian delta!

I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting a little sick of how threads seem to be going off topic and on for ages when durkbat posts something daft and others rant on at him.
