Ok so after watching Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights (NOW MY FAV MOVIE EVER!) I want to call my handsome man Javier and I have been inspired by the leading character in the movie who's name is javier he is gentle caring but strong and handsome and that pretty much sums up my Betta he is a gental soul but strong and manly at the same time.

I love Spanish names now.... Bettaone I have posted some spanish names in your thread for you

so out of these names what do you guys think I should call my boy:

Name Meaning

Javier - Bright (pronouced harveyair)
Orlando - Famous land (and orlando Bloom is also one of my fav leading men)
Dante - Enduring
Alonzo - eagar for battle

I love the names Sundae & milkshake etc but I think I need a more manly name for my boy those names would be great for girls though so guys what are your thoughts on my new names ???

Man. I would give him a name from his native Thailand. But if you want a name from that list, I'd choose Dante (the divine comedy, etc.).

I'm not sure, but Aroon apparently means dawn. His colours are kind of like the brief pink and dark trees of twilight. You might want to look that up though.

Yes it means of the Dawn I had a look at Thai names but I really wasn't fond of how they sounded but you are right it would be a good idea to give him a name native to his home land especially since I bought him from Thailand so he was born there.

Sadly, shes not much of a fish person, animal person for that matter. But thats why shes got me =P Im slowly changing her and at the moment, if she had to choose, its a close tie between Betta's and Neon Tetras.


I like Javier the most =P From your above post, it also has alot of meaning =P
