i am very happy overall with the build quality the cupboard doors are soft closing my only niggle is the access lids in the hoods has they are very heavy with handles only have room for one finger.

I am so jealous :grr: Wondering myself how to fit one of these through the 4th floor window of my apartment

Just to go back to the lid part, I've got a 5 foot Seashell tank and the lid goes over the top instead of sinking "inside". i can see what you mean about it being difficult to lift and i would also think it must be the same when putting it down. I personally think the change to the design is a bad one, even if it does look a little more tidy up top. What made you shell out money in Maidenhead Aquatics instead of going for something like an NDAquatics out of interest?

i did not buy from midenhead i bought the tank from a lfs near me in doncaster, seashell only supply maidenhead but every so often my lfs buys 10 or so tanks straight from seashell the one's that dont make it into maidenhead shop's call them seconds or seashell has made them to the wrong size or maidenhead has refused them, all i know is there are no maidenhead shops close to doncaster and the lfs in question are not allowed to advertize them so they are just sat in the shop waiting for lucky punters to come across at incrdedible prices, the owner told me they never know how many tanks they are getting untill the lorry arrives, i probably on paid about half it would have been for sale in maidenhead only paid £795

my lfs has got around six 5foot seashell aguariums also alot of them have wiers built in, they also got a wall tank with a built in wier nice and thin to place into a wall cavity looks very heavy the glass must be 15-20mm thick.

Ahhh i see, good to know and yes MA can be very pricey.

I wouldn't say you got an amazing deal in all honesty. I would say you got exactly what you paid for. Your size tank from ND would have cost a few quid less.

Anyway, when do you plan to stock it? :D

It will be around 680 litres empty Spurry.

Man that tank looks sweet, fits in real nice where you have it. Also goes well with your floor :good: I notice weird things :hyper:
