hi, yes I was talking about the media setup, in my tetratec ex600 the filter floss goes on the top, i am sure this is a polishing pad, the unfiltered water starts at the bottom of the canister and goes through the big media first and the floss is the last thing, so in the first pic or two the filter is set up the wrong way round

you should have your mechanical media in the bottom, and your biological media on top.
