My Miracle Fry!

My guppy had a batch of fry on the 29th of May (2 and a half weeks ago), and I put her in a breeding trap where she had 12 fry. I was pretty sure I caught all the babies, however, I happened to be looking at my tank today and noticed a tiny fry stuck behind the corner of my filter swimming up and down! There was a tiny gap where the filter curved and she was stuck in there after all this time. Anyway, I cleared back the gravel in my tank to see if she could swim out and I caught her. She must have been stuck in there all this time... god knows how I saw her! I have decided that I will keep this guppy because I just can't believe she survived without any food behind the filter all this time!

Reminds me of the time when my platy gave birth before a vacation... I gave the fry to a friend, but they didn't make it On the upside, however, there was a survivor in the mothers aquarium.

I made my own fry trap and put 2 guppies I caught from the tank in there. A few days later another gave birth and I got another 3. The next morning I was totally confused when a 6th had managed to swim through the holes I put in and get itself some safety.

I also have a fry just starting to get colour. No idea how it survived, nothing else goes more than 10 seconds without entering something's mouth
