My male Crowntail just ate a snail!!

My male just ate a small snail. Is he going to die? I've been trying to get rid of the snails but haven't had much luck. I know that the shells from shrimp can hurt bettas, but what about a snail? what can I do?

a lot of our female bettas love snail snacks, it's a little unnerving to hear the shell crack in their teeth though, guess the inside is gooey tasty or something wouldn't worry about it by the way.

Thanks, I was freakin out cause I don't want to lose this guy! I havent had good luck lately so I was picturing the worst.

Hmm... I have a lot of baby snails to get rid of. Maybe I should try it.

As for adult snails my betta just bit the thing's antennas off and left it at that. Probably left it alive just to be mean.

I put a snail in with my other male and he sucked him out the shell, I wish my other male wasn't such a pig and ate the shell

Yea, I lose alot of snails to my Bettas by them sucking the snail out of the shells. I'm getting quite a collection of empty snail shells, haha.
