As you may know i bought a red phase bearded lizard for £75 off a private breeder.

well after work today i got my viv quickly set up and then went to collect my lovely guy.

When i got there she told me about a normal one that has a limp leg otherwise very active and normal which she gave to me for free :D

here's the pictures, sorry it's a bit bare at the moment, I'm going to get some sand tomorrow so i can make a pile of rocks at the basking end.

So have decided on an substrate!
You must be so excited
:kana:
WOOK HOW WITTLE they are AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWh!

Cheers.

I have indeed it will be sand eventually but for now i think i'll go bare bottom with sand under and aorund the rocks so i can build them up a bit and stop insects getting inbetween them.

There so cool and so tame. They must of handled them alot as they just don't give a damn!! I'm not sure how i'm meant to handle 2 at a time though :/

The red phase is 4weeks older than the normal and is a good few inches longer.

just measured them and the red is 9inch top to tail and the norma is 7inch.

Love em!!!!

Nice set up too!

When I was younger someone I know worked in a Reptile pet store. Used to go there and see them all the time. Such fascinating creatures are Lizards.

That looks real nice Paul , good luck with the Dragons ;)

Cheers everyone.

The red pahse one molted whilst i was at work today, so unfair, my parents watched it do it :(

i'ved put some sand in to hold the rocks in place now and looking alot better i'll get some picture up later.

oth seem to love bombing throught the water bowl aswell

the red phase has also been licking a few grains of sand at a time everynoe and then since i put it in.

Cheers.

I'm alot happier with my wee one now. until today i hadn't seen him eat much, but he had some veg out my hand and caught a few brown crickets.

he wouldn't eat blacks

The viv cost me £120 bear in mind this is trade price and my stand was £70 which is actually a Jewel rio 240 stand!!

Thought i would add some more pics.
