those are not the fish that will be purchased but just a random pic of the breed of each fish i want to know which is the hardiest

None are particularly hardier than any of the others, remembering that they are all the same species of fish, it's just that they have been bred such that their tails and finnage are developed in certain ways.

It's like asking which breed of dog is hardier - red setter or king charles spaniel or dobermann - they are all the same species, but bred to have different features.

Those prices seem exceptionally low, though, I would have to be asking myself why this is, is the LFS not making enough profit, are they weak stock that the LFS or the breeder wants to get shot of, are they older fish, and that's why the breeder wants to sell them cheap.

Also, do you have the right tank for a betta, is it cycled, etc.?

The dumbo is very nice, not had one before, 7 is not a super delta but an over half moon.

The one I've got a couple of months ago was only £4.50 from Pets At Home. He was a juvenile and so far has been very healthy as far as I can tell. Tail and fins growing well and fairly active tho has rest periods now his finnage is much longer and heavier to lug about.
However the one I got last year for £22 (dragon plakat) from an importer who came highly recommended by a fellow TFF member became blind and eventually died after about 8 months. So it doesn't always follow that the more expensive they are the better they are. (Sorry if that seems like I'm contradicting you TLM - just adding my personal experience to the mix.)

At the end of the day I think the choice has to be yours Guppyguy as everyone has different tastes in bettas regarding colour and finnage so pick which one appeals to you most and looks healthiest.

the lock man yes i have a tank for these fish a ten gallon divided endlers in there atm but as soon as ther out bettas are in

How many dividers are you planning to use, Guppyguy? The most I'd put in a divided 10 gal is 3 bettas (or maybe even 2).- they'd have the minimum of 3 gal each then. They need swimming space despite popular myth that they can live in jam jars without filtration or heat.
The downside of having a divided tank is that any disease can spread from one to another. It does save on equipment costs tho.
If you haven't read this already, have a look at the care sheet for bettas:
http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/423362-betta-splendens-caresheet/

my idea was to divide it in three a very small divide in the middle for heater and filter then to bettas

Have you decided which ones you like best yet?

To answer your question in your original post as to which is the hardiest - supposedly the ones that are like they are in the wild are supposed to be more resistant to infections etc. That includes the plakats which have much less glamours fins and tails. The lovely tails and finnage have been selectively bred so they are less resistant to diseases than their wild counterparts.
No.8 would be my pick - I like the finnage and the colours are lovely

the dumbo yeh would be my first as well tho they always look like they have trouble swimming and btw those pics are not of the exact fish i will purchase any way i would choose 8 and black or white crowntail not sure thinking now of a sorority

5 is amazing :) where in uk are you i might have to try and find one like that :)
