My Large Betta Splendens Collection

Yea and unfortunetly being where we are we pay retarded shipping prices no matter what :/
It's saddening really
Yeah :( I've asked Canadian Aqua Farms about placing orders and their shipping fees, which is $35 anywhere within BC, but every other province is $95. Sad because they really have some of the best locally bred discus I've seen available here in Canada.
If you're looking for some rarer wild caught cichlids I know a local suppier based in Montreal. I've placed orders with him quite a few times when getting very rare species of piranhas, catfish, puffer fish and mouth brooder bettas.
Every time, I was extremely satisfied with my purchases and the fish were absolutely stunning.
He has $200 minimum order, but shipping is $65 (last I ordered) no matter how many fish you buy.

Here's a 3 month old red copper hmpk I won off aquabid, this is the last male I'll be purchasing this month. In 2 weeks I'll be trying to acquire some red dragon/black dragon/red copper females. For now I'll breed this male with my platinum black red dragon female.

I have just read this thread. Firstly your siamese fighters are incredible! I am loving the black copper king crown tail (I think that's what he is!) he is stunning! Looks kind of eerie! Love your red copper aswell! Beautiful!

Dominus your collection is awesome. I think the only way to get such a beutiful collection is to import.
Man my wife has restricted me to just the one male and lots of girls, and other than my breeding tanks which are in the shed thats my 2 tank limit. Yet its ok for her to have a marine tank. Moan groan grumble, I am extremely jealous you lucky man.

Here's a male red dragon halfmoon plakat and a male red black copper dragon halfmoon plakat, that I have on hold and will get next month.

Red dragon hmpk. Absolutely awesome. This is the fish for me. I now have the nod for another male tank. Was this on aquabid?

Yeah, there's a few red and fancy dragons on there right now, as well as some unique ones like a green dragon mustard gas. The two post above are from the same breeder as the red copper I posted.

Just curious - you seem to have a lot of incoming bettas - do you also have outgoing bettas? Do you sell them, do they retire to a happy planted tank somewhere?

I do sell bettas as well, but only locally. I house my males in divided and planted 20 gallon long tanks, 4 males per tank. My females go into my planted community 46 gallon bowfront and my 40 gallon long tanks.
When I sell bettas, I always state in the description to house them in a 5-10 gallon tank that is heated and has a filter. Individuals who aren't educated about proper betta care, tend to ask me why and I end up teaching a lesson to them about bettas via email or text haha.

Here's a few bettas, I'll be receiving next month to start my new betta breeding project.

Your suppliers are spoiling you with quality stock.
This is starting to look like showing off, carefull warning points could be available for this one.
Seriously, nice one mate, OHM red dragon I would have fry from him. Any ideas who you might put with him?
