My Juwel 400

Those dwarf cichlids will love that tank. Nice choice in the rams. Hope the pair have babies that grow in to fry!

I would rip that juwel filter out and free up a lot more space other than that tank looks great :good:

im not removing it until the warranty expires. as soon as you remove it is invalidate's it,and they do check to

plus its doing a job,i have no ph buffer in my tank due to the manmade gravel and loads of wood that will also drop the ph,so the internal has a xl bag of crushed coral in there,to stabilse the ph to a nice 7.2 :good:

i would like to remove it but to be honest its another little hideout underneath for the corys to rest/hide

That looks absolutely beautiful.

I wondered what gravel you're using and where you got it from? Many thanks :)

what filter is that? i want to get a juwel 400 in august and am currently on the hunt for a suitable filter

hi

sorry for late reply.

it is pettex roman gravel - jet black.

no idea why they say jet black as it isnt, lol

its more like a faded black.i prefer it as its easy to see the poops when vac'ing

yep its a fx5 filter, best purchase i made, its great. does cause some big current though!!

Simply beautiful. Loads in there but does not look messy at all.

Trust me, it looks even better in real life. It's simple but stunning.
