My Guppy Fry :)

I feed from the net so that they get used to it and are not frightened of it then when I need to catch them they just swim in thinking their getting a treat, and for the ones that are to smart and wont fall for that trick I use the bottle trap method saves chasing them all round the tank, there's always a few that wont fall for either trick but I get most of them

heres some more pictures of my recent babies that are growing up fast and are changing so quickly, they look like an endler but have a cobra guppy tail:

They've turned out really nice.
The tails of the males should keep growing more as well as they are young enough.

yer im really pleased with how they have turned out, but i am still puzzled as to where the tail colours have come from though, ive never had any guppies with that colouring in their tails.

These are the little beauties at the moment, almost 4 weeks on:

I was studying my fry tank and I have seen two more that are starting to get this colour tail and the start of the black spots on their side. I've put them in my main tank as they are big enough now. Fingers crossed even more will come through as I've got hundreds of babies in my fry tank

You have some nice multi coloured fish there, and very healthy looking too.

I like them a lot.

Wow. They grew pretty fast ;)  I have trouble getting my guppy fry to adults.

They always grow really fast, I think it's because I keep up with the water changes and always put in extra changes. Also I keep the water quite warm, normally between 26 and 28•c. I've never had any trouble with them growing fast. I feed them prima food as well, full of proteins. I think that helps

Mines are almost 3 months old and are only just starting to get colour! Yours are lovely. I will need to keep mines in the baby tank longer I put mines into the main tank after 3 weeks and the temps 26 my baby tnaks at 28 and daily water changes whereas my main tanks every week. Maybe this is why.

Yes that could be a reason why. But im not sure, my lot seem to grow at different rates at each batch. So are faster than others. My females tend to grow huge as well......

My black ones were all half black by 2 weeks old, some are going all black like their dad, they are a month old now. Yeah I can easily tell which ones are female-they are huge lol.

my fry go the same with the half black, when they are only about a week old they start to go black and then their tails turn orange and their body stays black. i would love to get some that are just black

Aww we could have! How far are you?
There's a user who used to be on here called noor. He had the Japanese blue grass guppies and the albino full red ones too. Beautiful fish!
