It sounds like your female may well recover. That is indeed good news.

Very very pretty fish, I had a female that was identicle to that one but she did not make it after birthing her fry a couple of weeks ago, .The male is incredible looking forward to seeing the babies!
Hi NY, this sunken belly thing, I had this with all my shop bought guppies and is why I nearly gave up on them and joined the Forum. It was so disheartening, I hav'nt found the answer to this disease/condition so far. However I've had no problems since keeping wild strain Guppies so I will say no more for fear of stirring up a wasps nest !
I was told by the manager of a lfs that several years ago something called "Guppie Disease" swept through the hobby and they stopped stocking them for over a year. The symptoms sound the same...sunken belly, white stringy poop ! However I've never heard of this from any other source.
I know how you must be feeling, it nearly drove me blim blim.
Edit...it seemed to affect females worse than males in my experience !
Ok, I scanned your postings and it seems I misread them ! I hope your small female recovers soon and pleased the rest are fighting fit and thriving. Your male Endler with the scarlet flashes on his tail is beautiful.Hi NY, this sunken belly thing, I had this with all my shop bought guppies and is why I nearly gave up on them and joined the Forum. Hey Pete. I find it only happens to females who have had fry then a few days later they put the weight back on and are fine. My poor cobra female never ever recovered. This 16 week old female has no gravid spot and is very skinny which would suggest she had these 2 fry I found in the tank but she's just a baby herself.
I will be going back to get another yellow male as I thought he was just gorgeous. I just need to wait and see what happens with the rest of them. They are fine, eating and very active.
My other fry are growing really well they are 9 weeks old, they have some lovely markings and I decided to keep them. There's 5 of them, 2 are showing gravid spots so are females, I thought they were anyway due to their size. 1 of the males has a gorgeous white tail with black markings, looks quite striking. The other males tail is white and red with black markings and the 3rd male is quite small he has a yellow tail with a black triangle shape in the middle.
How are your wild guppies getting on?
Thanks he's my boy.
Aww that's good. Freebies are always the best and what a freebie you got! It's going to look awesome! You need to get some pics up!
Today unfortunately disaster struck again. I had to move the tank (again) to the front of the living room, the table I had put it on yesterday wasn't stable enough and the leg started to buckle. The one I have put it on now is solid. I had to empty the water again, turn everything off for a few minutes then back on again and my powder blue male with the peach tail is now missing. I noticed yesterday he was just hanging around and one of the females kept swimming around him. He was massive I have never seen a guppy so big. I don't know if it was the stress of the move but the heater was only off for a minute. The rest of them are fine.
My stats are:
ammonia - 0
nitrite - 0
nitrate - 30-40 (the colours look the same)
PH around 7
I just don't get it. Thats both the males I added last week that are gone gutted.
How strange...for one to go missing like that...two is just wierd !
Here's a thought...sorry if its a bit gory...the little conical snails that live in the gravel (I had a plague of them when I kept Cichlids) could the fish have died and they pulled the bodies under the gravel ! I had an Angelfish die suddenly in the night once and in the morning it was covered in them !
On a lighter note, I know you are very attached to your fish but you can look for some new little gems now.
Edit...Not sure what I did wrong for this reply to appear in same box, never happened before
