My German Blue's

they goldfish are doin okay, i know that it's a horrible thing cuz, trust me, everyone is giving me beef on the goldfish...but when i got the goldfish i was actually getting them from a friend who had no tank at all and won them at a fair...so i figured having them overstocked in a heated tank for years is better than having them in a mixing bowl for a week...soon we will be moving and i will have enough money for an outdoor pond where they will go...

The blue gourami(s) would probably beat on the rams (Mine beats on a rainbow cichlid and surinam geo :sly: ), and those Tbarbs would most likely stress out the rams (which could lead to illness, Blue rams are pretty hard to keep healthy sometimes) I say that you should just leave the rams as they are, as long as they are healthy in that tank they are ok

okay, see the reason i asked is because it seems like all he wants to do is the hibbity dibbity and she's seemin to always be stressed, he doesn't even give her enough time to fill all the way up with eggs and i thought that the more space they had the less he would hassle her and she'd have time to develop more eggs...i also figured that since they are cichlids they could hold their own...thx though

Bad idea with breeding cichlids :/ Get some more hiding places for the female (a lot more, if you have the room) She'll have less beatings from the male :)

I got my rams as juvies, and I had two tiger barbs in the tank at the time, and the barbs harrassed the rams constantly. Not that the rams wouldn't eventually stand there ground it just seemed to be an big annoyance for them.

Dwarfs, i took your advice and here is what i have now...best i can do on my budget..think it's good enough?
