I know nothing about those fish but hes a stunner!!!are they ahybrid and if so whats the mix?

I believe they were bred with red devil, blood parrot, and possibly more than a few to get a fish that is colorful, fearless, friendly, and just one heck of a attitude. Thanks for your feedback.

lovely flowerhorn there - what size is your tank, what else do you have in there?

heres a vid of my tank, and my flowerhorn - its much bigger nowadays, however, can you tell its a heart shaped flowerhorn?

My tank is a 55gal.It is being shared with the flowerhorn, red devil,6 exodons,3 chinese algae eaters, electric blue lobster. But your tank is huge and very active. How do you keep all the fish moving? Was that an eel I saw. :good:

i have a few eels - however the large one was a 24" fire eel.

you might think about upgrading to a bigger tank lol

not sure about your lobster in that tank to be honest - i keep blue lobsters 'crayfish' in another tank.

in the begining, i tried keeping both fish and crayfish together, however, when the crayfish shell, they got eaten,
i tried many ways in trying to keep them both, but ultimately could not.

8inary how do you keep your fish so lively?I thought you had to half stave them for that type of action?.Unless that is just the nature of the fish you have. Thanks for your replies. :good:

that is how they just are - i tend to feed them once a day unless im trying to beef a fish up. i tend to just feed them
prawns and flake nowadays - having gone through a lot of various foods, these two are what they prefer.

just to clarify - when i say beef a fish up, and for example, i just got a red spotted severum, nice size, albeit a lil small for my tank
so, ive been feeding flake twice a day, plus prawns, and it has put on a bit of weight, so back to normal feeding of once a day, but even then
they get enough, firstly a good dosing of flake, then followed by a good amount of prawns
