well there's the pictures of my tank and the fish i have :)

i will be updating the fry growth and information daily if i can :) and will show weekly pictures unless they grow rapidly in days

thanks for looking

cool. maybe a few more fishes would be nice. also perhaps hide he filter a lil more and it wont stand out so much. cheers for pics

I need to take out some of the substrate as it has a algae type sheet over it.

But I will try to get a biggish plant to cover the filter up, I'll see how my current ones grow, see if they grow over/into the filter area.

How many more fish would you suggest I could have? My tank is a 9 gallon Cleaseal Mini Pentagon.
I know I need atleast 2-4 more female guppies, to relieve stress on my current one.

But i have seen some Cinnamon gouramis that I'd really love to have, but not sure my tank is big enough :(

I have just recently caught all the baby guppies i could see out in the open and put them in a breeding net *marina fish net breeder*

Also the new corys are seeming to be what looks like bullying/chasing my zebra danio? any reasons for this?

thanks

How many fist you got in there at the moment? How many Danios do you have? If its only 1, you'll need more. How many cories do you have too?

I have:

2 Male Guppies

1 Female Guppy

11-12 Guppy Fry

2 Three-Line Corys

1 Female Zebra Danio *at atleast 2 years old*

so i think im already at the most i can have...

wouldn't i need a bigger tank for 2 more danios?

i know i need 3-4 more female guppies to level it out 2 females to every male

nice tank, needs filling up a bit though!!

I'd say it's overstocked with the fry, as all of them except one are in a breeding net, so if they all survive I need to get rid of some rapidly!

hopefully the fry will turn out 3 females so I can keep them and then give the rest of the fry to my LFS in exchange for 2 danios? 1 male and 1 female?

that'd bring the stock to:

6 Guppies, 2 male, 4 female

3 zebra danios, 1 male, 2 female

2 three-line corydoras, unsure of the genders atm

so a total of 11 fish in a 9gallon tank, is that ok, or too many fish?

erm I'm abit concerned about my tank water.

it looks like it has little particles in it, and when i get up close it just looks like little green hairs, algae I'm guessing.
anybody know how i can get rid of this and have clear water?
or is it normal?

thanks

Well I've got my tank stand (a tv cabinet that can hold 50KG so 30gallons)

just need to let the glue dry for 8 hours, then hopefully tomorrow I'll be going to get substrate or order it tomorrow from SeaPets.co.uk

only have £21 to spend at the moment until my payment cheque clears which will give me £285 in my bank :p

went to the LFS today to look at some tanks, and came back with:

1 three-lined cory
3 female guppies
some catfish pellets and a master test kit.

results:
pH 7.6
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate 0ppm - 5.0ppm (colour looks like wee)

Wooooooo!!!!!!!

I got the Rio 125 a few days ago!!! :yay: for £190.99

After however many minutes and drops of blood spilt later here it is:
