MY FISH IS SCARED

I just got a new fish and the first day theyt had nothing in the tank except gravel so today i went to the pet store and got some fake plants and a large piece fo fake coral and i put it on one side of the tank and now the fish wont go on the otherside by the plants and the coral

You don't tell us what type of fish you have. Corals may look pretty, but the structure and the chemical composition of coral can have a detrimental effect both to the water chemistry and to your fish.
However to answer you main question, your fish will take a few days to settle into their new environment. At this stage do not be too alarmed.

he is ok now, when i woke up this morning he was swimming around the coral and the around the plants.
