My First Guppy Fry!

Hello,

My guppy had some fry at around 11:00 am when I was getting up this morning. I actually got to watch her have some... I counted 10. One was in the main tank which I think has been eaten and another never came out of a ball form. So that leaves me 8. She still looks like she has some inside of her though as her gravid spot is dark still. HOw long does it usually take for her to drop all of her fry and should I go ahead and take her out of the breeding net?

they can give birth for up to 2 days. on and off.
do you have a fry tank?

They normally do not have fish longer than 24 hours. Even that is long. The majority of them come in a few hours. Leave the fish alone just the same.

Well. She is done.. She's back to being skinny.. HEHE.. Total of nine babies... Started with ten but one didn't make it.. (It didn't come out of the ball form.)

Well. TOnight I had another female drop around 18-20 fry.. LOL.. i don't think thier going to stop now.. HAHA...

keep your tank just the same because if you don't have the female in a breeding trap she will be having a friday night fish fry!
