Great start  What fish are you planning to put in there ? Have you started a fishless cycle ?

What kind of gravel is that? Looks dark like the eco-complete stuff. Oh and congrats on your 1st tank. B)

hi guys

yeh i'm just about a week into my fishless cycle, no ammonia drop as yet, waiting is driving me bonkers lol

i want to start with some guppies, then once the tank has settled for a few months some neons, perhaps some albino cory's for the bottom.

i jgot the dravel from pets at home, its natural gravel and is a dark gery colour, which will hopefully show up the colours of the fish quite well.

thanks fro the compliments guys, i'm so excited as i've wanted a tank for about a year and now i've finally got one

Here's a much better pic

Thanks to advice and a much beter camera from my other half.

Who you may remember was not at all interested in the idea of me getting a tank but is now very excited at the prospect of getting fish lol.

Hopefully he's been bitten by the bug too!!

I'm hoping to get 6 Guppies and later at least 6 neon tetras.

would quite like some albino cories for the bottom of the tank too, but will have to check and see how many i oculd have to make sure i'm not over stocked.

thanks for all your replies guys, keep em comin

Looks like a good start. Keep up the good work!

looking good

will be great

dont forget to post pioctures as you go along and when you get your fish in there.

nice set up

The plant on the right doesn't look like an aquatic plant to me. It will slowly rot inside the tank and pollute it. Where did you get it? Some petstores, most I should say..carry plants that aren't really aquatic plants at all.

Isaac

*EDIT*
Sorry..didn't read haha

Neat tank, great filter hiding skills  :p

I`m liking it,

I set my first tank going not so long ago and i can`t wait to get it stocked, i`ve got fish in all my mates tanks awaiting my tank cycling...
