My Favorite Accident

I love this little guy who came out of my accidental spawn, he's so darling. So, forgive the pic overload please, I wanted to get a nice shot of him that does him justice, but this is the best I could do as he likes to stare at me when the cameras around.

His brother is behind him

Such a doll!! He has difficulty eating though. He can't eat pellets, I don't know why. He tries and tries but he just can't catch them (his mouth is a little odd and turned up too much, I believe, he's the only one like that) and he also has a difficult time with frozen, but somehow he manages....it just takes him a long time.

Brother and sister IN the grow out Babies havin' babies,tsk tsk.
They came from an orange and a green.
Thanks for the comments everyone, I was really pleased with the turn out. Here's another "accident" from the same spawn, it was quite a betta buffet!

What do his parents look like ?

I started having pc problems before I could answer this.
His grandparents were a metallic green male and a plain orange female. Spawn turned out all oranges and greens. His parents were an orange male and a metallic green female So green to orange, then orange to green results in...a mystery!

Depends on if riogal says she doesn't want him. I gave her pick of the litter since she adopted their father right after the spawn (literally days after), I'll let ya know!

How did a spawn in the grow-out tank happen? I'm assuming you noticed right away or was it like one week there were many more bettas?
