Well...
I've had them for a couple/few months now, since they were tiny fry. Apparently they're reaching sexual maturity and I just can't deal with them anymore. They're absolutely gorgeous, their coloring is just outstanding but to be frank....they're a-holes :X They run around the tank and fight with everybody, raising hell left and right and instead of looking in my tank and saying "awww" ...I'm constantly looking in and saying "stop that! You bad,bad fish"

So I've decided to trade them out for 2 or 3 frontosa and I'll have a front only tank, just thought I'd share :)

Yup Johannii are nice but can be quite the little terrors!

Fronts can be aggressive too though, don't kid yourself. That male can get pretty feisty with the females, especially if there are only one two to choose from. (hint, a couple more females wouldn't be a bad idea). It won't be anything like the relentless harassment that Johanni display though.

This is not to scare you away, but just a warning that aggression will still be a factor.

Good luck, Fronts are very nice and pretty calm fish, and if you have room to house them they are a good choice.

I love my fronts, their aggression is cute because they give up easily  I'm already in the process of planning an even larger tank for them at least a 200,if not more. Possibly a pond...if I win the lottery

The blues however, chase the fish their picking on to the other end of the tank. I managed to net only one male :X Everybody was getting upset and the blues were just too fast to catch without destroying the tank. So now I have 1 male 2 females, maybe that will be better, we shall see.

I feel sorry for the male who had to go, I was thinking about him as I drove home. He had to fight for dominance with his brother and now...he's back in a tank with his father  poor little guy, I hope he can hold his own :/

Lol, sometimes my G/F gets mad when watching my Lamp. Ocellatus's :) She points her finger at the agressor and tells them bad.. It's funny, I laugh :)

m8 are they in filter on hiding behind plant or been eatern by cat or other fish?
