Silly me, I realized after looking at the pics that I left the sticker on the one pot! I am sooo blonde!!
Also, I've noticed that Ariel my red female in the last picture looks like she has kind of a hump in her back? What do you all think that looks like?

I love the finished project! So you used aquarium sealant to keep it all together? I should try that!

AWESOME! :fun:

So everyone recommends real rock from outside then (after boiling of course)? Does it collect more algae than say, those fake cave decorations you buy from a store? Or does it not matter?

If there is no difference, I plan to do this myself with my sealant, once I find out it is a safe rock.

I boiled mine, and I wouldn't imagine there would be any problem with them after that. I guess I will see about the algee problem, but I doubt it will affect anything, but I may be wrong.

Really nice job!!!!!

The tank looks beautiful and your girls seem to appreciate all your hard work!!

And I had to  at the image of the dog taking off with a piece of your work --> we had a dog like that when I was a kid, she though everything was food. She even ate SOS pads and would steal gum out of your purse, wrapper and all!!

I added about two rocks on top of each other at a time, then held them from about 5 minutes, and let them dry for about 10-15 before adding the next layer. Goodluck!

My 2 year old son is horrible with running off with things when I do diy stuff. It's always "Can I have that back please" as he takes off down the hallway laughing carrying off whatever it was at the time that he decided was pretty neat. Then there's "No honey, Daddy doesn't need your help" when he trys to stick his fingers in wet silicone! That's why I wait till he's either taking his nap or he's in bed before attempting any diy anymore.

riogal_11, Nice job on the caves! Gave me some inspiration to use some of the sandstone I have laying around.
