Yeah every thing seems to be going great, can't wait to get some fish in my tank. Wish my biorb was as fast, still not ready sick of changing water every day.

Hello,
May i suggest if you are using the Api liquid nitrate test, when you next test give bottle 2 several taps on a hard surface followed by a severe shake. The solution within bottle two has a habit of seperating resulting in some of its contents collecting at the bottom.

Retested same result 5ppm? only thing I can think of is that I added 1 gallon of water to top the tank up, could that be the cause.

Do not stress to much about the nitrate. I did & it set me back a week or so.

+1! Just focus on ammonia/nitrite, and the nitrates will sort themselves out.
