My Cats Gone Evil :( Help

I have a female cat similar to this, she is tortishell cross tabby cross white, we just put it down to the torti nature. she will be loving one minute and attack you the next. when i come home she waits on the top of the couch so when i walk over she climbs on to my shoulder. we recently got a puppy, thought the company might help, she likes the puppy they play and wrestle but if we (my fiance and i) are near the puppy she goes phsyco. then at night when we put the puppy in bed (in the bathroom) she will come in and lay on the bed and lay all over ur purring. we have just put it down as she is a very moody jealous cat. i understand where you are comming from, she is my baby i could never get rid of her she is my no one girl (tho i do love my animals in different ways my level of love for all are the same).

i hope you find out what is wsrong wih her soon and it is nothing seriouse. good luck.

If you haven't already, I can highly recommend pet insurance. I know there will still be an excess to pay, but overall you won't have to throw in big lump sums of money anymore.

While I am not a fan of the RSPCA, it might be worth emailing them (or calling them) and explain the situation. I know that they can offer help with medical costs in some situations, or maybe one of their vets can check over your cat for you. At the least they can give you some advice.

For now, I'd try and keep your cat and kittens apart. Giving her the main run of the house, and the kittens just a room. I know it might feel harsh, but she was there first and it's her territory. Hope things will work out for you =)

Totally agree Im not fan of RSPCA and unless i got a free 12 hours to wait in que on the phone i'dnot bother. Have you tried stroking her gently all over when shes relaxed and comfortable, just to see if she has any sore spots. I do this with mine, she was a stray from cat shelter and is out alot slepping under bushes and hates alot of fuss. shes been spayed and chipped, and she fights alot with every cat she sees so i have to check her for injuries from cat fights time to time.
Id deffinatly say insure her too, i think everyone who has a cat benefits from insurance, faiths insured we have had her around 3 years but she has been in vets twice due to fight related injuries bless her which easily added up to £1000.
I also have a kitten, they dont see eye to eye and have occassional little fight but nothing major, cats are teritorial.hes insured too, hes mischeivious and has already been to see vet. seriously its not alot each month, just shop around roarys insured upto /£3000 per problem and is about £7 a month
