Yes he is still a kitten... He is just few months old, about 3-5 months old.

I got my two cats when they were 3 months old. My male weighs 15 lbs now! My little girl only weighs 9 lbs. They are 2 1/2 now.

I remember my cat caught a rat with her paws. She didn't kill/eat it. She just whacked it around and thought it was a toy. My dad kept saying "What are you waiting for, cat, kill it now! Gosh darn it... can't kill anything for squat."
